Kevin Tarzcon • Chicago, Ill. Will Thomas • McLean, Va. Robert R. Fair '51 of Charlottesville, passed away on February 9. A member of the "Greatest Generation," he served honor- ably in WWII, receiving his Combat Infantry badge, a Purple Heart for wounds received in the Alsace region of France, and two Bronze Stars. Bob graduated from the University of Virginia in 1950. He also received an MBA from Harvard business school in 1952. He worked for Westinghouse in western Pennsylvania and in 1964 returned to Charlottesville to direct management programs at the Darden School. While at UVA, he served as president of the Colonnade club, faculty advisor to the Psi Chapter, and associate dean for MBA education at the Darden School. He retired in 1996. He enthusiastically supported the Cavaliers in football and basketball to the end of his life, watching his last Wahoo basketball game on February 3. Bob is survived by his wife of 63 years, Camilla Starr Fair. Bob was Consul of Psi Chapter and led the effort to purchase 608 Preston Place in 1950. He served Psi Chapter with great dedication and distinction for all of his life. Samuel Baughman Craig Jr. '61 entered the Chapter Eternal on Sunday, November 12, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Hazel Thompson Craig, and brother, William. Dr. Craig received his BA in mathematics at the University of Virginia in 1961, where he was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity and served as the first counselor on The Lawn. Chapter Eternal I f you are in one of the classes returning this spring for the University of Virginia Reunion weekends on May 31-June 3 or June 7-June 10, 2018, you probably know that the University will host a Greek reception at the UVA Chapel Courtyard from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2 and Saturday, June 9. To make your time in Charlottesville even more enjoyable, your Psi of Sigma Chi House Corporation and the active Psi Brotherhood are also inviting you to our own Greek reception at 608 Preston Place during the same Saturday times, 3-5 p.m. on June 2 and June 9. Please join us as we gather in our new Donlan-Kirwin Memorial Chapter Room and outdoor terraces to celebrate the Brotherhood that meant so much to all of us during our time at the University of Virginia. Reeside Jr. '77 and his wife, Sandy, welcomed their fifth grandchild in 2017 with the sixth on the way. Bill was able to reconnect with Jeff Mintz '77 in New York City over the holidays. They both miss their brother, Jim "Chester" Evans. Bill is close to retirement and then it's travel and volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity and mission work in South America.
