The Heart of Our Kitchen
Celebrating Gamma Chi's Beloved Chef, Geri
G
amma Chi's beloved chef, Geri Spensley, has
kept members fed with delicious meals and
snacks ever since she joined the Sigma Nu staff in
April 2002. With her big, warm smile and friend-
ly greetings each day, Geri has become a friend,
favorite, and a mom away from home for many
brothers. She is a constant for the chapter—some-
one we can count on anytime we enter our kitchen.
Geri's fondness for what she does is apparent. She
says that she appreciates that being a chef for Gam-
ma Chi has allowed her to become a mentor, coun-
selor, and problem-solver for the brothers, in addi-
tion to cooking. e kitchen is graced with many
photos of members of the past and the names never
escape her. Geri is protective and always looks out
for us. We are incredibly grateful for her and look
forward to more of her meals!
