Thursday, December 6, 2012 – Daily News 5B Court Round-Up The following defendants were sentenced in Tehama County Superior Court, according to the Tehama County District Attorney's Office: Recent State Prison Commitments • Adam Lee Webster was sentenced to three years in state prison for evading an officer, willful disregard. An officer attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Webster, he failed to yield and a vehicle pursuit ensued. Webster continued to drive recklessly until he lost control of his vehicle, crashed through a fence and ended up in the front yard of a residence. • Sergio Martinez Rosas was sentenced to four years in state prison for sale of a controlled substance. During an undercover drug buy, Rosas sold methamphetamine. The drug sale was monitored and recorded by T.I.D.E. agents. • Devin Michael Olah was sentenced to three years in state prison for oral copulation by force. The victim was asleep on a couch when she was awakened by Olah who forced her to have sexual relations with him. • Wesley Eugene Stone was sentenced to two years and eight months in state prison for failure to file a change of address with special allegation-prior strike. Stone is a convicted sex offender and failed to notify law enforcement upon moving from his residence. • Nicole Melrose Risse was sentenced to two years in state prison for first degree residential burglary. Risse had broken into victim's residence and stole several items including victim's credit card. • Daniel Joseph Burton was sentenced to 16 months in state prison for false personation, resisting arrest, battery. Burton and victim had been in an argument which escalated when Burton slapped the victim across the face and began punching her in the rib cage. The victim was eventually able to escape and get help. When officers responded to Burton's residence Burton refused to open the door and let the officers in. Officer's eventually forced their way into the residence and apprehended Burton. Recent County Jail Commitments • Celestino Maldonado Trejo was sentenced to 270 days in Tehama County Jail for possession of marijuana for sale. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Trejo. Upon contacting Trejo the deputy observed the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. Trejo and all three passengers stepped out of the vehicle, failed to comply with the deputies commands and eventually fled on foot. During a search of the vehicle the deputy located several pounds of processed marijuana. • Jennifer Dorothy Grisko and David Mark Waite were sentenced to 180 days each in Tehama County Jail for Griskoculivating marijuana; Waite-possession of marijuana for sale, possession for sale of a controlled substance. Agents responded to a private shipping company where they received three parcels containing hydrocodone and marijuana. An investigation into the incident led agents to serve a search warrant at both Grisko and Waite's homes where they located several growing marijuana plants. • Brock Lorin Beall was sentenced to 120 days in Tehama County Jail for failure to appear on own recognizance; possession of ammunition. Beall was released from custody on his own recognizance and failed to appear in court as ordered. A deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Beall, a convicted felon. The deputy conducted a consent search of the vehicle and located ammunition. • James Charles Williams was sentenced to 90 days in Tehama County Jail for attempted possession of stolen property. The victim and a companion drove to a bank to use the ATM. The victim exited the vehicle and headed towards the ATM and noticed three males walking nearby. One of the males approached the victim and demanded money. The victim then fled towards his companion's vehicle and sped away. • Melissa Kimberly Smith was sentenced to 20 days in Tehama County Jail for aid by misrepresentation–Over $400 Smith received welfare benefits for a child and failed to report that her child was not living with her.
