Anchored In Delta Gamma at the University of Kansas spring 2018 inside: Alumnae Spotlights p.2 • Doing Good the Delta Gamma Way p.3 • Alumnae News p. 4 B eta Kappa Chapter has enjoyed yet another successful spring semester at the University of Kansas. From achieving a 3.35 GPA to hosting Cheesy with ΔΓ, our undergraduate members have been busy excelling on campus and in the community. However, the success of our members today would not be possible without the support of our loyal alumnae. In laying the foundation and expectations of our membership, each alumna has played a vital role in making Delta Gamma at KU what is today. I would like to thank alumnae and undergraduate members alike for their dedication to the Beta Kappa standard. Thank You, Alumnae and Undergraduates As my time as House Corporation president comes to a close, I want take this opportunity to express my sincerest gratitude. Giving my time in this manner will forever be a treasured part of my Delta Gamma experience. Without our supportive alumnae, beautiful renovations to the Chapter house and the Chapter's daily operations would not be possible. Our alumnae act as shining examples of Beta Kappa's sisterhood and their support continues to propel us to the top. I challenge all alumnae to take this opportunity and volunteer with Beta Kappa in any way they can. Volunteer Your Time with Beta Kappa We always say our membership is not just a four-year commitment, but a lifetime bond. House Corporation offered me a way to take care of our beloved Chapter house while acting as an important resource for fellow alumnae. Guiding the next generation of Beta Kappas is an experience not measured in years of service but in the memories made. Whether assisting during recruitment, taking on a leadership position, or just stopping by the Chapter house, each of us has the ability to make our Chapter strong. Perhaps you are apprehensive about the time commitment that volunteering may require, but we encourage any interested alumna to give what they can. Becoming a volunteer with Beta Kappa was one of the best decisions I could have made, and I encourage you to do the same. We welcome your questions, input, and involvement.
