A lpha Nu is now at campus total after extending 15 bids to potential new members in early Febru- ary. All 15 accepted. The new members were initiated in mid-March. The chapter has periodi- cally conducted Continuous Open Bidding (COB) during spring semester to fill spots in the chapter vacated by members who study abroad, graduate, assume alumnae status, or resign. New members enjoyed a fun Bid Day, with the theme Fuller House, and experienced a full new member program prior to being initiated. New members were effusive when sharing the reasons why they joined Alpha Chi. "I want to be a part of a sorority that supports women to be their best selves and Alpha Chi is that sisterhood," Nikki Lansford said. "All of the Alpha Chis were truly genuine and welcoming. My mom and close friends are all Alpha Chis so it was always in the back of my mind. Alpha Chi made my heart whole and as an only child I now have about 300 sisters and friends to call mine," Lauren Jones said. Kelly Feeley wanted to feel like she was a part of something that is fun and positive. "I wanted to find my group of people. After watching the sisterhood video and being at the chapter house I knew that Alpha Chi was the perfect fit for me!" Kaitlyn Frazier said, "I knew I always wanted to go Greek, so I talked to one of my friends from church in my home town as well as a friend's sister. My church friend is an alumna and my friend's sister is a senior in the chapter. They both had so many positive things to say about the character of the Alpha Chis and I knew wanted to join their sisterhood." Brittney Bartlett Sophomore O'Fallon, Mo.
