In Memoriam Jerald "Jerry" Lee Kinkade age 80, passed away peacefully at his home in Quartzsite with his loving wife by his side at 4:45PM on Thursday, April 5th, 2018. His tremendous sense of hu- mor, integrity, wisdom, and generous spirit will be greatly missed; however, family and friends are indeed comforted knowing that Jerry is now with God. Jerry and his wife, Vera Sterback-Kinkade, were married in 2001 and have resided full- time in Quartzsite since 2003, where they have enjoyed years of dancing, beautiful sunsets, and many special memories created with all their cherished friends. Jerry was born in Mabton, WA, in 1938, and grew up in Eastern Wash- ington where he spent a majority of his life working, farming, and in business, running a successful trucking company for 45 years. After he retired from the trucking company, Jerry and Vera moved to King Salmon, CA, where Jerry went to work in the fi eld of paper production for the FMC Corporation located in Samoa, CA (near Eureka). They lived in Northern California for several years, leisurely traveling to various places in the country but remaining so fond of trips to Quartzsite that they would eventually become full-time residents. Jerry, never one to sit idle, worked for a few years here in Quartzsite driving a fuel truck for Loves. Jerry was also quite proud to serve on the Quartzsite Town Council since 2016, contributing to the success of the community he loved so much. Jerry Kinkade is survived by his wife Vera; sister Velva; daughters Joan, Carolyn, and Cheryl; stepsons Kevin, Russell, Shannon, Karl, and Zane; grandchild Scott; and numerous great-grandchildren and stepfamily. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Harley and Helen, sister Joyce, and son Jerald Keith Kinkade. There will be a remembrance and celebration of Jerry's life at 2 o'clock on Thursday, April 19th at Covenant Lutheran Church in Quartzsite. Jerald "Jerry" Lee Kinkade Jerald "Jerry" Lee Kinkade
