The fire, which was contained at 11:17 p.m., did $250,000 damage with a $300,000 save. There were no injuries. PG&E assisted CalFire and Tehama County Fire. ��� A fire reported at 10:18 p.m. Saturday in the 31000 block of Manton Road in Manton completely destroyed a vehicle. The mechanicalcaused fire was contained at 11:07 p.m. Damage was $6,000 damage. There was no save and no injuries. ��� Red Bluff Fire responded at 7:09 a.m. Saturday to report of a vehicle fire with threat to a structure at Oak Park Manor Apartments in the 200 block of Jackson Street. The first engine on scene found a 1970s Lincoln Mark V Continental with smoke coming from it, but no visible fire. Fire personnel tried to make access but the vehicle was locked and the driver���s side window was broken. There was no visible fire, but smoke was coming from the vehicle. The fire appeared to have started around the climate controls of the vehicle, located to the left of the steer- ing wheel. Smoke and fire damage was primarily to the driver side of the dash and the driver door. ��� A structure fire reported at 7:41 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of Jefferson Street was electrical-caused. The fire was contained at 9:04 p.m. Red Bluff Fire responded to report of a possible structure fire with an electrical hazard and were met outside the residence by a neighbor who explained he saw what appeared to be an electrical flash come from the rear of the house. A burnt meter mounted on the outside rear wall of the house was located and the wall was smoldering around this meter. PG&E was requested. The burned area was contained to right around the meter. Hit and run ��� CHP is looking for a driver involved in a hit and run at 10:41 p.m. Thursday on Northbound Interstate 5, north of Liberal Avenue in the Corning area. Mark Telly, 49, of Manteca was driving north in the fast lane when an unknown white vehicle in the slow lane made an unsafe lane change directly in front of Telly shortly after passing his Honda Civic. The unsafe lane change caused the two vehicles to sideswipe and Telly to lose control of the Honda, running off the road. Anyone with information is asked to contact Red Bluff CHP at 5272034. ��� A woman reported Friday that a man in a blue van ran her off the road on I-5 near South Avenue before exiting at South Avenue. An area check was made, but the van was not located.
