House Construction

I
t is certainly an exciting time for Alpha Beta! As you
can see, construction is progressing and is expected to be
completed by August. The house is truly beautiful inside
and out and we are so grateful to the generous alumnae
who are making this dream a reality. All of the housing
contracts are completed and there is a waiting list to live-
in. The anticipation from our undergraduates for the new
facility is creating excitement and inspiration, as well as
the assurance that the Chapter House will serve the needs
of our members for years to come.
We are sure you, as with other Alpha Beta Chapter
members, are thankful for your connection to Phi
Mu. While the sorority may mean different things to each
member, we can all look back on wonderful experiences
and be thankful for our shared bond. However, our
ability to enjoy the sisterhood of Alpha Beta Chapter
has depended upon the generosity of those before us. It
is now our turn to "pay it forward" for today's young
women, so they too can have the same experience
we enjoyed.
To date, 58 sisters and friends have contributed $622,775
to the project. While this is an impressive commitment,
we still need support to reach our $1,000,000 goal to
ensure that our chapter remains strong for years to
come. Remember, what we do today will affect the future
of our legacy at the University of Arkansas.
Now is the time to join the campaign! All donations will
be 100% tax deductible for the Our H
FME, Our Legacy
campaign. Donors may give through the University of
Arkansas until July 1, 2018, and their gift will count toward
the Alpha Beta campaign and toward the university's
current fundraising effort, Campaign Arkansas. Any
gift provided after that date will go through the Phi Mu
Foundation. All gifts will be directed toward the Alpha
Beta Chapter House project. All donations through the
university and Phi Mu Foundation are100% tax deductible.
