e Farmington community offers adventure
and outdoor activities in various forms of amenities.
You can enjoy nature on Creekside Park's half-mile
walking trail or take some quiet time to read a book
at the Farmington Public Library.
Farmington Public Library
Established in 2005, the Farmington Public Library is governed
by a board of trustees. e library is a department of the City of
Farmington and a member of the Washington County Library
System.
e mission of the Farmington Public Library is to enrich the
lives of Washington County residents by offering access to words,
images, and information through respectful, professional service.
e library strives to meet educational, cultural, and recreational
needs while promoting literacy and lifelong learning.
e library is located at 175 W. Cimarron Place, just off of Main
Street and across from the Post Office. Hours of operation are 9
a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., on
Tuesdays and ursdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Saturdays.
Creekside Park
Creekside Park is located at 54 N. Hunter and offers a half mile
walking trail, picnic tables, benches, large playground and a pavilion
that can be rented.
Ecology Park
Ecology Park is located on Ecology Drive (off of Double Springs
Road) and is a small park with two picnic tables.
