The residence was entered by forcing entry into the garage door. A Stihl weed trimmer, Wagner airless paint sprayer, blue double baby carriage and a box of mis- cellaneous car parts were among the items taken. The estimated loss was $650. Fight •A physical disturbance between eight people was reported around 9 p.m. Wednesday in the roadway near Woodson and South avenues. Silent the Tehama County Sher- iff's Department received a 911 call from a store clerk at the Cottonwood Texaco who said there was a man in the store who has passed them a note asking them to call the police. The man, identified as Brian Keith Anderson, 33, would not speak with deputies and would only communicate by writing messages on a note. The man requested a ride to Red Bluff or Chico Around 2 p.m. Thursday and was advised to contact a taxi service. Employees asked for the man to leave the property. He eventually left walking westbound. On Saturday the department received a call about a man laying near the roadway near Highway 99E and Cone Grove.
