Welcome to our Women's Issue, which
shines a spotlight on some of this
community's smartest, coolest and most
talented and creative women. I hope
you enjoy learning about them and their
lives. I'll let the articles and photos speak
for themselves because I'm moving on
to another important subject, which I'm
calling: You're missing out if you don't
follow our Facebook page and regularly
check our website!
Seriously.
For example, I know lots of you love
Seen @ the Scene, our back-of-the-
magazine feature with pictures of people
at different events from the recent past.
ey're fun to look at and you never
know who you'll see there – maybe
yourself!
What you may not realize is that we
almost always have more pictures from
these events than we can squeeze into the
magazine. Similarly, we also have pictures
from lots of events that we went to but
couldn't get into the magazine at all.
Where are those other photos? ey're
posted on our website – cityviewnc.com
– under the Seen @ the Scene heading.
Browse through at your leisure. But keep
checking back because it's always being
updated.
All of the headings at our website have
good content. But I'll particularly
recommend the Local Life Blog section,
where the content includes local bloggers
Katie Crenshaw of A Fork's Tale and
JaneLovesLocal as well as additional
pieces by everyone's favorite raconteur
Bill McFadyen. See you there!
