T he University of Texas fraternity scene has been evolving since the early 2000s, much like the Austin skyline. With the growth in enrollment at the University, our peer fraternities have seen the need to invest in their programming, facilities, and alumni relations. Fiji, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Phi Kappa Psi, Kappa Sigma, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Beta eta Pi, and Delta Tau Delta have all completed successful campaigns to invest in their facilities and ensure long-term financial strength. While the Omicron Chapter is happy to report the strength of today's undergraduate chapter and renewed solid foundation with the national Kappa Alpha Order organization, we must take significant steps to continue our leadership on campus. is vision focuses on three key needs—to be completed with alumni funding by 2025: 1. Short-term projects (late 2017/early 2018) 2. Mid-term infrastructure improvements (2018- 2019) 3. Long-term financial wellness (debt free by 2025) WHY WE MUST SUCCEED Phi Psi: $8M+ raised to build new house; construction completed 2017. "is campaign is an opportunity to help provide the facilities and financial support to ensure that members of our newly reunited Fraternity have the same meaning ful and fun experience we were able to have." – Justin Tschoepe '05 COMPETITION Fiji: Nearly $6M raised to renovate facility and build new annex in 2014. Kappa Sigma: $4M raised for state-of-the-art house; construction completed 2017.
