Actors wanted for A Walk in the Past By Joanne Winer This year, the Quartzsite Business Chamber of Commerce is present- ing the Quartzsite Historical Pageant--A Walk in the Past" on February 24 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hi Jolly Cemetery. There are still a few people needed to play some of the "characters" in Quartzsite's past--so, if you want to be an "actor" or "actress" for a little while and dress like one of our ancestors, please call the Business Chamber at 928-927-9321 dur- ing business hours, or call Joanne at 928-927-6551. This look back at the history of our town is a lot of fun for everyone-- those who play the parts and those who come and learn about the early pioneer days here. If you cannot be part of the pageant, you can still have a lot of fun coming out to the cemetery and seeing and learning about our pioneer families, some of whom still have dependents living here to this day! For further information please call or drop in.
