Alpha Phi loves game day. Go Spartans! The Ivy 3 T he fall semester was another great one for the ladies of Alpha Phi. After an exciting summer of studying abroad, internships, and family fun, everyone was eager to get back to East Lansing. The chapter has been keeping very busy. From recruitment to studying for finals, and every- thing in between, here is what we have been up to this past semester. This year's formal re- cruitment was a great one for Alpha Phi. We got to show off our incredible renovations and brand-new basement to all of the potential new members. After putting in extensive work with polish week and the two weekends of recruit- ment, the Beta Beta Chapter welcomed a full new member class into Alpha Phi. With a full roster, we got to spend quality time with our old and new sisters. We took full advantage of the beautiful weather we had this fall and had a great sisterhood event at the cider mill. Each member class was able to bond with each other and spend a great day eating donuts and drink- ing cider. Additionally, the fall '16 and fall '17 member classes had major bonding during the five weeks of Ivy Linkers all leading up to big/little reveal. The new member class was overjoyed to unwrap (literally) their bigs! We also had a date party event for all of our members and a unique Mom's Day event. To finish off the semester, the 2017 executive board was invited to attend the Greek Gala Awards. Advisors, house moms, and MSU faculty were invited to this exciting event as well. The event was a great way to celebrate the year's achievements, and the Beta Beta Chapter left with the Chapter President of the Year Award. We are already having a wonderful spring semester and can't wait to see where 2018 takes us.
