BETA BETA CHAPTER of ALPHA PHI at MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY
Winter 2018
The Ivy
2
017 was a great year for Alpha Phi at Michi-
gan State. The women returned from the sum-
mer to a significant redecoration of the basement
dining and meeting space, updated lighting and
electrical in the bedrooms, and a new catering
staff that provide fresh, healthy meals.
These projects, in addition to the second and
third floor upgrades from summer 2015, were
funded by House Corporation savings. These
projects were part of the larger master plan that
includes projects totaling $1 million. The HCB
is continuing to discuss and prioritize future
projects, including redecoration of the remaining
public spaces, updated bedroom furniture, and
exterior landscape improvements.
We're also forming an alumnae engagement
committee that will focus on communications,
events and programs to keep us better connected
to one another and the chapter. The committee
will be project based with ranging time com-
mitments—best of all, you don't need to live
in Michigan! If you are interested in sharing of
your time and talents, please email msualphaph-
ialumnae@gmail.com.
Please feel free to stop by the chapter house
when you are on campus. We look forward to
reconnecting.
