G After 25 years, the Weavers have something
they never had before: neighbors. The Weavers watched the steady progress of work crews at the Cottages at North
Ramsey for months – the development was hard to miss, the Weavers passed it by every time they went to church at Cedar Falls Baptist. The two of them had flirted with the idea of moving, then dismissed it and did even more work to their house in Linden. But one day, on a whim, they decided to take a tour at the Cottages. They plunked down deposit money the very next week. They drove the seven miles down Ramsey Street every chance they had to watch
their new home being built. They loved the charm of the wood shingles and the stone fireplace. A clubhouse and neighborhood swimming pool nearby didn’t hurt either. Early this year, Gail and Carolyn moved in. “It is the best thing we have ever done in our lives,” Carolyn says.
