Today, the Rose Hill winery has a tank capacity of more than one million gallons. Its root trace back to the 1970s when this is the largest winery in the South and North Carolina’s oldest. The Fussell family and Duplin Muscadine grapes were considered a “wonder crop.” The Fussells sold their crop to a winery in New York but realized there was opportunity right here.
