You missed it? The "funniest" event
ever in Quartzsite's history. Never
fear! It's coming again in Febru-
ary in Brenda. The Band Scramble
was good-natured fun from the fi rst
moment when "The Cleaning Lady"
began mopping the fl oor, feet,
shoes, bald heads and anything she
could fi nd. The audience found a
lot to laugh at and giggle over in
between acts: Devil Woman, Eight
Girls in a Car, Tiny Tim, etc. The
band selections and rehearsals
went off like clockwork and the
newly formed bands performed like
pros. First through Fourth place all
won prizes. So watch for the Feb-
ruary date and let's make it bigger
and better.
