The series began with Smokey and the Mirror (2015) and Jack Williams (2016) as an effort to showcase local artists who have made significant contri- butions to their art. CANDY LEE — Local songbird Candy Lee is an award winning, "golden voiced" singer. She has an old soul, with vocals reminiscent of Billie Holiday and Judy Garland, and has been compared to modern day artists Kat Edmonson, Fiona Apple and Regina Spektor. Lee blends this with an indie-folk songwriting style that ventures into blues, funk and pop, and leaves listeners feeling like they've had a breath of fresh air.
