Country Way in Fayetteville will host husband-and-wife-duo Still on the Hill at 7 p.m. Jan. 5 as part of the Local Legends Series. The series began with Smokey and the Mirror (2015) and Jack Williams (2016) as an effort to showcase local artists who have made significant contri- butions to their art. This year Still On The Hill (Donna and Kelly Muhollan) will share moments from their musical journey and their vision for the future. $15. Reserva- tions at 501-940-0872. LEE TOMBOULIAN — Creative piano player/improviser/composer Lee Tomboulian will perform an intimate house concert at 7 p.m. Dec. 27 at the home of local musician Emily Kaitz, 5 E. Davidson St. in Fayetteville. Tomboulian is known for his fun mashups and covers, like a medley of George Gershwin and Freddie Mercury, or "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" in the style of Chopin and other classical composers. BÉLA FLECK — Widely considered the premier banjo player alive today, Béla Fleck returns to the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville as the first show of the new year at 7 p.m. Jan. 17. Fleck has been nominated for 30 Grammys in more unique categories than any artist in Grammy history, winning 14 of them, and has been named by countless musicians as an inspiration to their own careers.
