The Phi Alpha Golf Outing Lives Up to Its Reputation T he 35th annual Phi Alpha Golf Outing was hosted on Friday, September 8, at the Lake of the Woods Golf Course in Mahomet, Illinois. The afternoon started with lunch at JT Walker's Restaurant & Sports Bar before the event. As in the past, we stuck with the scramble format competition. It was a day of great weather, great golf, and even better brotherhood! Afterword, everyone enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Alexander's. We finished the day with a visit to 211 E. Daniels to see recent improvements to the chapter house. We saw the new fence around the west side patio and the new furniture in the library. Many of the alumni stayed over until Saturday and watched the Illini beat the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Special thanks to Brother Scott McAdam '79 for hosting a great tailgate before the game.
