CAPITAL CAMPAIGN
COMMITTEES FORMING
I am extremely excited to announce the formation
of two capital campaign committees. Sonny
Sonnenstein '90 proposed the motion from the
floor, which was overwhelmingly approved, and
graciously offered to head the first committee,
which will focus on the financial planning related
to the capital campaign. The second committee,
which will be led by House Corporation Vice
President Jeff Alfano '13, will focus on the
facility needs and updates that the campaign will
finance. If you are interested in joining either
committee, please contact me and I will place you
in contact with Sonny or Jeff.
I am honored to announce that with his proposal
to form the capital campaign committee, Sonny
Sonnenstein '90 started the proverbial ball
rolling by making a pledge of $50,000 over the
next three years to the capital campaign. This
pledge exemplifies the dedication our alumni have to the undergraduates and alumni, but also to the
legacy of Delt at Cornell. It is this type of generosity that makes Beta Omicron the premier fraternity
on the Hill. I hope that we can count on all of our alumni to contribute, to the best of their ability, to
ensure that the Shelter is competitive with all other housing options on and off campus and remains
a shrine to international brotherhood for another 127 years.
