Fall 2017 PHI SIGMA KAPPA FRATERNITY AT PURDUE UNIVERSITY Phi Sig Express Matching Gift Will Double Your Giving Impact Join Us Today to Meet the Challenge and Help Us Reach Our Goal T here are often moments where a challenge from a brother, friend, or colleague motivates us to push ourselves to meet that challenge. That is the power of brotherhood, supporting each other, and being able to accomplish together what we could not accomplish alone. As we enter the homestretch of our campaign, I want to thank those of you who have generously pledged your support. As of November 27, we have received $1,578,445 in written commitments from 142 individuals. We have made excellent progress and we are close to reaching our goal, but there alumni who must step forward in order for us to achieve our $1.75 million goal. Fortunately, we have exciting news to celebrate that will help make our goal more achievable. I have issued a challenge to all alumni in the form of a $50,000 matching gift pledge. Specifically, I have agreed to match all new pledges and gifts, or increased pledges, dollar for dollar, up to $50,000. As you consider making your initial pledge—or a follow-up pledge if you have already made an initial contribution—please recognize that each new dollar you pledge now equates to two dollars for the campaign. If you have already given, your pledge increase will also be matched! Think about how much increasing your contribution by five or ten percent would mean to the future of Delta Triton. Don't miss your chance to capitalize on this initiative. If you've been contemplating a gift to the campaign, the time is now! This is a one-time opportunity to have your gift matched 100%. If we are successful in our endeavor, the campaign stands to gain $100,000 to fully fund the on-going construction. The work that we have done and the work we are planning to do is only possible with your continued support. For all the brothers that have contributed to our efforts, we sincerely thank you. We ask that you reach out to a brother whose name is not yet on the donor list, and encourage them to join you in supporting Delta Triton. If you haven't donated, join with us today and meet the challenge. Fraternally, Richard Schleicher '59 Campaign Chairman rls@ajskfc.com Demolition has been completed on our historic house. We look forward to the future!
