Rho Chapter Strand of Pearls 2 We had Cupcakes on the Oval to benefit our national philanthropy, Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation (EGPAF). Women of Rho Chapter on game day! A member and her guests at our annual Parents Weekend game on October 7. Rho Chapter Fills Its Bucket Full with Good Causes As Spring Semester Approaches, We Prepare for Recruitment i alumnae and sisters! The women of Rho Chapter have been working tirelessly to make this semester the best we have seen. RECRUITMENT AND SISTERHOOD We welcomed two new members to our chapter: Halle Elman '17 and Jesse Mersand '17. Our new member educator, Alyssa Fishman '16, has been meeting with them weekly to start the new member process. We are hoping to have initiation for the two women in mid-November. We had our AEPhit Week, where sisters had the opportunity to take workout classes with each other, such as boxing and spin. Additionally, we had our annual apple picking sisterhood. PHILANTHROPIC AND ACADEMIC PURSUITS We finished our Red Week, in which we held an event for each day of the week in order to raise money for the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric Aids Foundation (EGPAF), one of our national Philanthropies. Some of these events included selling cupcakes and donuts on the Oval, hosting a trunk show, having a benefit concert, and selling mac and cheese and grilled cheese at our annual event, Say Cheese! Once again, our women have been above the average Panhellenic and OSU GPAs; a great accomplishment. For the remainder of the year, Rho Chapter will be getting recruitment ready as we begin our formal recruitment process in January. We hope that the 2018 recruitment season is as successful as it has been in the past. With this, if you have any potential new members that you feel would be a great addition to Rho Chapter, please contact our vice president of recruitment, Jenna Fishelberg '16, at aephiosu.vprecruitment@gmail.com. Thank you, alumnae, for your continuing support and love. We look forward to bettering the Rho Chapter you see today. As always, if you are in Columbus, our door is always open and we are excited to show you the Rho Chapter house. LML, Addie Migden '16 Chapter President aephiosu.president@gmail.com
