The Historic Downtown Red Bluff ArtWalk is held in conjunction with the Downtown Red Bluff Business Association‚s Holiday Open House. Participating businesses and venues exhibit works by local artists and host receptions in their honor so the public may meet and talk with the featured artists. This event is free and begins at 5 p.m and ends at 9 p.m. Col- orful flags mark the official ArtWalk venues in down- town Red Bluff where there will be music, food, lights, and lots of art to create a festival atmosphere. Corning in the Evening — 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, the Tehama Arts Council will host the monthly event here in Corning at the corner of Marguerite Avenue and Solano Street, (formerly Doc's Bed and Breakfast).This is a time to meet and greet fellow Chamber members and concerned citizens and to find out what is happen- ing around the area. Veterans Day - The Corning Veterans Groups are Celebrating Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 12, with a Parade at 10:30 a.m., starting at City Hall and ends at the Memorial Hall. At 11:15 a.m. there will be the Pre- sentation of Colors and a short program at the Memor- ial Hall. Following the program there will be a ham- burger barbecue served 12-1:30 p.m., prepared by the Corning Exchange Club. The Knights of Columbus will again join the Corning Vol- unteer Fire Department to provide a fine pancake breakfast at the Fire Hall 7-11 a.m. The Knights of Columbus sponsor the Boy Scout Troop 62 and this is one of its annual fundraisers for the troop.
