Not On My Watch: Veteran Responds to Sister City Concept Dear Editor:
Has someone on the city government lost their mind? This city is in a communist controlled country! Next thing, they will want to make “Uncle Ho’s” successor an honorary citizen.
As one who helped train ARVN SF in 1959, and was back in country in 1969, 1970, I say no way in hell! Has the individual/individuals
who dreamed this nightmare up given any thought to the number of families in Fayetteville, who lost loved ones in that country, and the heartaches it would open up? In all honesty, I feel the person persons who thought this up should have their head examined. Not on my watch!
