Alumni and Zeta Psi Chapter Are On a Roll
Continue to Grow and Support Your Thriving Chapter
W
e hope you have been enjoying the
Bearcat Sig newsletters. Since taking
over as House Corporation presi-
dent, I have been continually impressed by the
strength of our brotherhood. Our bond runs
deep through the generations of family mem-
bers and the decades of brothers who love to
get together and reminisce about old times. At
the Summer Stag Roast in July, it was extremely
evident that Ritual, Brotherhood, and Club, in
that order, keep us so close. Please keep sharing
your stories and updating us on your lives.
Chapter Wins
International Awards
e active chapter is on a roll and their campus
leadership never fails to amaze me. We had a
big summer and pulled off the grand slam of
awards from Headquarters. Our chapter won
the Peterson Award, and was followed up by
Jeremy Fernandes '17 winning the Interna-
tional Balfour Award (the first time a Zeta Psi
has won this award). As if that weren't enough,
our chapter sweetheart, Alison Hagemeyer,
won the International Sweetheart Award. It
should be no surprise that Zeta Psi is leading
Sigma Chi nationally. We have been doing it
for decades, and none of this would be possible
without the strong support of brothers like you.
Making House Improvements
At the fall House Corporation meeting, we reviewed our two big capital
improvements from over the summer. anks to your generous donations
to the Zeta Psi annual fund, we were able to renovate and modernize the
men's restroom and add a dedicated women's restroom on the first floor. We
also installed new cabinets with durable, granite countertops in the dining

room. is fall we made additional upgrades
to the library by adding more chairs and ded-
icated wall-mounted monitors for individual
and group work. We will continue to improve
the library this winter break to support our
brothers' needs to work individually as well
as in groups. Lastly, we approved funding for
the second annual brotherhood retreat, which
is a dry leadership event facilitated by young
alumni. e active chapter leaves town for a
weekend to work on their vision for the chap-
ter and to create personal leadership plans for
the school year.
Leave Your Legacy
e support for these leadership training pro-
grams and capital improvement projects from
brothers like you has been inspirational! We've
raised more than $22,700 for the first Zeta
Psi annual fund campaign with 78 donors. It
is clear that when Zeta Psi brothers are called
upon to leave a legacy, we step up to the plate
in a big way. I would love to see us raise a to-
tal of $30,000 for the house by the end of the
year. Please join me in donating and visit do-
nate.zetapsisigs.com or mail a check to Lincoln
W. Pavey Educational Foundation (LWPEF),
P.O. Box 42605, Blue Ash, OH 45242. Checks
should be made out to e Sigma Chi Building Company for house im-
provements (preferred and non-tax deductible) or to e LWPEF for lead-
ership programs (tax deductible).
