River float trip planned Nov. 3 tion Trust (Trust) and Associated Students Adventure Outings (AO) are co-sponsoring a Sacramento River float on Saturday, Nov. 3. The float will cover 9 miles of the Sacramento River between Jellys Ferry and Bend just north of Red Bluff. It will be an all day event from 8 a.m. to about 5 p.m. Before embarking a representative for the Bureau of Land Management, will give a brief talk about the area. Wright had previous mis- demeanor charges of fail- ure to update registration and failure to register. Bail was $3,000. • Christy Mellinda York, 41, Red Bluff was arrested at Rawson and Sacramento for posses- sion of a controlled sub- stance and transportation of a controlled substance. Ryan Onions, 20, of Red Bluff was driving south in the fast lane at a high rate of speed when he told officers a big rig pulled into his lane, caus- ing him to brake aggres- sively. Onions lost control and the vehicle went into the median, rolling over. His passengers, 15-year- old and 16-year-old girls, were taken to St. Eliza- beth Community Hospital with minor injuries. Onions was arrested, medically cleared and booked into Tehama County Jail on the charge of DUI. Bicycle thief? Someone reported Thursday afternoon find- ing a bicycle across from Green Doors in the Route 99W area with a sign that said free and called Corn- ing Police to verify that it had not been reported stolen. 4-H Program Tehama County Enrolling new members for the upcoming year.
