Ian Klever '16 and Adam Gearhart '14 working the table at welcome fest. e Alpha Eta Chapter of Delta Sigma Phi came back from the summer motivated and ready to recruit for this amazing brother- hood. With a driven executive board along with the rest of the brotherhood ready to step up and put in the effort needed, the fall semester is shaping up to be a great one. Even with many brothers graduating last semester, the brother- hood of 26 is still close and motivated. Last semester multiple house improvements were made. anks to the help of Alumni Control Board, a new freezer was purchased for our amazing house mother, Wilma. Old kitchen equipment was removed from the house, open- ing up some space and improving the overall appearance. A contractor was hired to install a flag pole in memory of Brother Loren Schoen- berger '39, and there are some smaller improve- ments being discussed. is semester will be a busy one with numerous events already planned and other events being discussed. e annual hog roast was hosted on September 9 , and everyone had a great time. e second annual Delt Dinger Derby was hosted in October. is event is a homerun derby to raise money for philanthropy. Last year and this year were very successful. Along with those events, we have already hosted a few recruitment events including cookouts, volley- ball games, and other events, and more will be happening through this recruitment season. I can personally say that this is the most moti- vated I've ever seen this brotherhood, and I am incredibly excited to see how this semester turns out.
