Fall 2017
T
he Next Hundred Years of Building Men
campaign is drawing to a close. We have
raised $3,989,619 toward our $4.5 million
fundraising goal. Due to the support of numerous
alumni, parents, and friends, construction is in
full swing on our chapter house and the result is
sure to be spectacular. No doubt that our project
is already making a huge impact on recruitment.
New members are excited about the prospect of
living in a brand-new, state-of-the-art house. Our
brotherhood is strong; they support each other
and encourage each other to be better men.
As we look back over the past three years at
our capital campaign, we have been not only
impressed but inspired by the tireless work
of our housing association and campaign
board. Coupled with that was the dedication
and financial support of our alumni and
undergraduates to secure a sound and safe
fraternity house for members to live in during
their college years. Truly, without the loyal
support of our members who contributed dollars
early on, our project wouldn't be possible. So,
to the 516 of our membership that has already
contributed or pledged to the capital campaign,
we extend a hearty thank-you!
THOUGH CONSTRUCTION
HAS BEGUN, NEED TO FINISH STRONG
AND REACH FUNDRAISING GOAL
We are more than thrilled with the support we've
received. However, as construction costs have
risen, it is imperative we finish our campaign
strong. Pledges are still needed to cover the entire
project cost. For those of you who have given
generously, you have made our success possible.
If you are able, please consider extending that
pledge another year or making an additional
contribution. For those of you who have not
given, we appreciate any amount you feel you
can give toward this important project. Every
dollar counts to help us reach our fundraising
goal of $4.5 million.
CAMPAIGN ENDING DECEMBER 31—
DEADLINE FAST APPROACHING
The campaign is ending December 31, 2017.
Time is almost up in helping out with this
campaign. All donors pledging at least $5,000
by December 31 will see their names on a
prominently displayed plaque in the chapter
house. Remember, we have a five-year pledge
program to stretch your gift to its full potential,
and you can make your gift tax deductible
through the FarmHouse Foundation. Many of
our brothers have used these programs to make
a larger gift. Use the pledge form enclosed to
make your pledge today.
Your support makes a big difference and we
thank you. Please come to Lincoln this year to
see your dollars at work.
Fraternally,
Raise the Barn Chairmen
