The donors below made contributions between April and August 2017. Donors are shown in their lifetime giving categories. Thank You, Recent Donors F ormal recruitment is always one of my favorite times of the year. The energy throughout the chapter is indescribable. Throughout the days leading up to recruitment, California Gamma had a blast preparing to meet all the Potential New Members that would soon walk through our doors. During recruitment school, we spent many days discussing the ways to convey how much Pi Phi means to each of us. This time was special as we watched members of our chapter grow even closer and come together. It was great to see women working together and encouraging and motivating each other despite being tired. Several times throughout the week, seniors or other members would stand up and speak to the chapter at random, giving everyone words of encouragement and reminding the members how special each of them is to the process. We even had our previous Chapter President and Vice President of Membership come in to help the women with any questions or concerns they had regarding recruitment. Our alumnae spent their days off from work to help us, and to them we are so grateful! The willingness of these graduated executive board members to come back and help shows that our Pi Phi sisterhood extends beyond just the four years of college. After welcoming home our brand new Pi Phi sisters on Bid Day, we immediately felt the rewards of our hard work. We are so excited about our New Members who each exemplify the noble values of a Pi Phi. I am so thankful to call California Gamma my home away from home!
