33 of whom were legacies! Their transition is
being facilitated by our New Member Educator,
Lanier Sandefur '15, who has already begun
teaching our New Members about our history
both for the Alabama Beta Chapter as well as on
a national scale.
Chapter Wins Most
Outstanding Sorority 2017
This past semester was a fantastic one for Alabama
Beta! In March, we were named Most Outstanding
Sorority of 2017 through Order of Omega. We are
also happy to report that we will be honoring 302
members at our Scholarship Banquet for their
academics, with 70 women holding a 4.0 GPA for
the spring semester.
Come By and Visit!
Thank you to our alumnae, advisors and The
University of Alabama for continuing to support
our chapter each year. We hope that we can con-
tinue to count on your support as our chapter and
its new facilities continue to grow. We would love
to extend an invitation to any alumnae or friends
of the chapter to come visit us anytime! Alabama
Beta is excited for a great year and to cheer on
the Tide!
