After a stressful work week, we decided to have some fun with a pie eating contest. Our brave sisters each ate a whole pie! Natalie Reinhardt '15 won the contest! We raised more than $3,000 for Girls on the Run and Hearts for Huntington's at our annual Grilled Cheese with the G Phi B's philanthropic event. Near graduation, we were sad to see our seniors leave, but we know they all will do amazing things in their future. Coming into recruitment, after a very productive work week, some of executive board and the sophomore pledge class decided to relieve some pre-recruitment jitters. We went to the park where we colored, played games, ate pizza, and had a bonfire. It was the perfect time spent together right before the chaos of recruitment. SEMESTER KICKOFF As for this semester, we were fortunate enough to welcome 72 new members, including 14 legacies! We had our first all-house sisterhood event where we played field games and learned more about our strengths and weaknesses through a personality test. It was amazing to see the whole house come out for it, and truly, it was a great way to kick off the beginning of this year! HOMECOMING PREPARATION Alpha Delta is getting ready for Homecoming with our pairings Beta Sigma Psi and Delta Kappa Epsilon. We would love for alumnae to come out October 20 for house decks, which will be held at 808 Richmond Ave. We hosted our annual Moonball event at the end of September. This year we hosted a basketball tournament, and we loved seeing everyone there! STRONG SISTERHOOD Besides Homecoming and Moonball, Alpha Delta is making it a priority to create an even closer sisterhood. We will be hosting four more sisterhood events to promote our values of love, labor, learning, and loyalty. Finishing these sisterhood events will be the Girls on the Run 5K, happening in November. We already have numerous members signed up to be coaches. We can't wait to see the participants of Girls on the Run shine when they cross that finish line! Although the fall semester is a busy one, Alpha Delta is ready to have the most successful year yet! We had the best day welcoming our new members, especially in our comfy pajamas! Welcome to the Dream House! Gamma Phi Beta Excels in Philanthropic Efforts Alpha Delta Welcomes Home 72 New Members The executive board had a blast on sisterhood day of recruitment. Our theme was black and gold for the MU Tigers. We loved sharing our memories and sisterhood with the potential new members, not to mention our love for Mizzou! Go Tigers!
