Visit the Chapter House The members would love to have as many alumnae as possible see the house before it is renovated in May. Our house is open every weekend for alumnae to come and visit! Please stop by whenever you're in Columbia! 8 08 Richmond has been home to more than 3,000 women over the 89 years that the Alpha Delta Chapter of Gamma Phi Beta has stood at this address. The women who have called Gamma Phi Beta home are exemplary women. They are doctors, lawyers, business leaders, nurses, teachers, moms, journalists, politicians, and philanthropists. Molded by their experiences at 808 Richmond, the women of Alpha Delta share a common thread of love, labor, learning, and loyalty. Lifetime friendships have been forged and memories of Homecoming, Greek Week, Romeo, sunbathing on third old, living in the annex, initiation, mystery dates, Diosa, recruitment, and bigs and littles populate our minds. The house that has given so much to each of us needs each of us to help now. A new house for the next one hundred years of Alpha Delta is in order. Our new home will accommodate members, and potential new members, who have specific ADA needs. Our new home will have a chapter room and dining room that seats 300 women. Our new home will have an exercise room, a craft room, an executive room, and countless study rooms. Our new home will have amazing bathroom facilities and will feature state-of-the-art technology. Our new home will have outdoor living spaces on three different floors. Our new home will be like our current home – only better. We will be facilitating our campaign through the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation. Stay tuned for more information on how you can give back. While our house itself will change, the women who have and will pass through our doors will remain the same – the best girls on the University of Missouri campus!
