AND as an added bonus the Tourism Team has been planning a second project called "Explore the Trails of La Paz County"- a focus on ATV/UTV and off-road trails within La Paz County. Moon Mountain at 10am. Yes, we will have the Red Kettle Bell Ringers again this season. We've already had several people asking. We'll start the day after Thanksgiv- ing to Christmas Eve. Come in and sign up if you'd like to ring or even play an instrument at local business- es. These funds stay here locally in our Quartzsite community. We have six very nice wooden pal- lets. Think what creative item you could make with them. They are made with very nice quality wood. A big thank you to Thrivent Ac- tion Plan, Dollar General and Park- er Wal-Mart for their donations to our fi rst Super Sock Saturday Thri- vent Action Project Event. Over 120 pairs of socks were given to our local kids from ages Head Start to High Schoolers. We had lots of smiles and excited kiddos that each got to pick several pairs of socks of their choice. We have lots of Halloween costumes and fun items for your Halloween decorating. Today I look at all the positive things in my life and give heartfelt thanks for every one of them.
