With the centennial house renovation project coming to completion, our brothers will be putting forth extra effort to match the quality of living space. This means improving academia, greater house duty responsibilities, more campus involvement and, of course, an emphasis on recruitment. Academics on the Rise The cumulative GPA from spring was 3.0. This puts Lambda Chi Alpha just below the all-male average of 3.026. The initiated members had a semester GPA of 3.256 but the average was brought down by the associate member's 2.486. High Sigma Eric Willard '16 will be working with the returning and incoming associates to make sure they are academically successful. Upcoming Events We are excited to live in a newly renovated Chapter House. We are finally able to once again host large events such as Chicken Benefit Dinner. This year will be the 58th annual Chicky-B on Sunday, November 5. Everyone is invited to come and support the Chapter's largest philanthropic event in the fall semester. Alpha-Delta is looking forward to utilizing our new event space as much as possible to host philanthropic and social events. We wouldn't be able to do it without the generous support of our alumni brothers. Whether it be through national or local charities or to pursue campus involvement, we appreciate all past financial contributions to the Chapter. Recruiting New Brothers With the renovated house comes new rooms and a chance for us to share the Lambda Chi experience with more people than ever. Our summer recruitment efforts to find upstanding gentlemen is an ongoing mission that continues up until the first day of classes. As of mid-July, we have nine bids out and 13 signed. These efforts are led by High Delta Kyle Barton '16, but the responsibility to recruit is shared by all of our brothers. We are anticipating a total of 25 new members by the beginning of the fall semester. I want to thank all alumni who have donated their time and money to this project. We are thrilled to live in our newly renovated Chapter House and know this will impact future Lambda Chis for years to come. Please come and visit the Chapter House anytime!
