8A Daily News– Wednesday, October 10, 2012 Pink Sundial Event This year's 2012 Nor Cal Think Pink Sundial Bridge Lighting event will start at 6:30pm on Thursday October 18th. Entertainment will begin with Summer Shappel at 7pm. Entertainment throughout the evening: Al Mires & the Music Max Band, Music by Jimmy Bryant DJ, Magic by Bascomb and Face Painting by Mr and Mrs Twister. The official Bridge Lighting Ceremony will begin at 7:30pm followed by the lighting of the pinnacle. There will be a food court set up with tasty snacks available for purchase. Completion of the event is at 9pm, however the bridge will stay lit until 10pm allowing for photo opportunities. Shuttle Services will begin at 5pm. The last shuttle will leave the Pink Sundial at 10pm. The shuttle will pick up at the Raba Bus from the Mt Shasta Mall and also the Win River Bus will pick up from Shasta High School. Patrons are encouraged to drop off Think Pink Survey Cards at the Pink Sundial Bridge (One in each Think Pink Breast Cancer Awareness bag handed out earlier that morning).
