The person that sub- mits the winning nomination will receive a $25 gift certificate cour- tesy of the Daily News 2013 Employment Posters Available are re-minded that the 2013 employment poster, which contains all State and Federal employer notices, is available through the Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce office. The poster, which is required to be on display by every California em-ployer, contains all required employer notices on one poster and includes a checklist to ensure poster is dis-played according to law. The poster is produced by the State Chamber and made available to local chambers. Cost for the 2013 poster is $24.99 for paper and $39.99 laminated. This is a chance to find some good buys and support the Woman's Club with all the worthy projects. • Candidate's Night - Oct. 16, 6:30 p.m., at the Veterans Memorial Hall, 1620 Solano St., the Corn- ing Chamber of Commerce and the VFW are sponsor- ing a Candidate‚s Night. Both state and local candi- dates have been invited. For more informa- tion call the high school at 824-8000. • ADA Educational meeting - Everyone is invit- ed to hear Gary Layman a certified ADA Consultant who will be at Corning City Council Chambers Oct. 25 at 6 pm. This will be an educational meeting to inform businesses about what you can and should do to be protected against law- suits. Come and find out what the regulations are and what you as a business owner or renter can and cannot do. There will be a 45 minute presentation and also a time for question and answers.
