OUR LEGACY
W
ashington Chapter's tradition dates back to 1910
with our roots as the Kalevala Club. From that
time to the present, our proud history speaks for itself
through academic achievement and leadership within the
university. Many of our best college memories can be
traced back to our Alpha Delt experience.
Through Alpha Delta Phi we not only learned the
importance of friendship, knowledge, service, morality,
and excellence, but we acquired valuable assets, which
include leadership skills, organizational skills, social
skills, teamwork, and character. Oftentimes, these traits
have been integral to our personal success and helped
shape the men we are today.
Our chapter house is the focus of undergraduate life for
Washington Chapter. It has been a home away from home
for hundreds of young men and a classroom where our
brothers have learned the mission of our fraternity—to
help its members develop into entire men. If we wish
for Alpha Delta Phi to continue its strong presence on the
UW campus, we must ensure that we are providing a safe,
modern, and competitive facility. We are fortunate to have
outstanding undergraduates, but our future is by no means
ensured without an attractive facility.
It is imperative we act now to secure our future.
