Christmas Tree Lane is an oppor- tunity for you to advertise in the downtown area by sponsoring a Christmas tree with the name of your business or organization hanging under it. You may decorate and enter the decorating tree contest or simply put lights on the tree for holiday decorations that are unique to Corning. The City will install the trees the end of November and they will remain until after the first of January. You may also want to think about entering a float or vehicle in the fabulous Lighted Parade. We hope that some of you are plan- ning to sponsor Hometown Christmas. This year we will have the Western Express trackless train to transport people up and down Solano Street and that will be another opportunity for sponsorship. Cham- ber members, look for the sponsorship letter in the mail soon. This column is prepared and submitted by the Corning Chamber of Commerce.
