M ichigan's Homecoming game this year will be against the Rutgers on October 28. Kickoff has been set for 12 p.m. and we hope you can join us at the Chapter House. We are planning a barbecue dinner gathering at the house on Friday evening. On Saturday morning, we will be unveiling the permanent restoration campaign recognition plaque and tailgating with the undergraduate Chapter. Please mark your calendar and we will share more details as they come. Alumni updAte ALUMNI NEWS Robert D. Miller '49 is enjoying the active life with his wife, Barbara, and their three sons, Jeff, Mark, and Dan, who are all in California. Weinberg '50 is enjoying the beach life off the Pacific. He loves that his family lives within minutes and he is able to see them daily. He also enjoys playing golf, swimming, cycling, and volunteer work. His wife, Libby, is in Eldercare, but is he able to see her daily. Lance C. Minor Jr. '55 keeps up with Paul Thomas '55 and Drew Radel '55. He left Sports Illustrated in August of 1992 to become an alcohol and drug counselor due to the loss of his first wife, Barbara. He married Margie Gilbert in September of '99. He loves to travel and spend time with his family in New Canaan, Conn. E-mail: lcmj27@optonline.net Robert M. Bowman '56 was a coach and admin at the Air Force Academy from 1958 to 2007. After getting his wings, he was assigned to the AFA from 1958 to 2007. He resides in Corvallis, Ore., with his wife, Mae. Bart C. Hazleton '61 retired in 2004 but still works part time with previous employer, BYK- Gardner. His wife, Ann, of 49 years, recently passed away in August of 2016. Slonaker '63 operated an architectural firm called Slonaker McCall Architects in South Central Pennsylvania for 34 years. Terry has traveled with the alumni association five times since 2006 and spent some time in Acapulco, Mexico. Gentry Jr. '66 recently retired from 47-plus years of practicing law in Peoria, Ill. He plans on traveling with his wife, Judith, in their travel trailer. Other plans include volunteer work and becoming involved in senior continuing education with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Bradley University. He resides in Peoria, Ill. He has started three successful businesses (two tech start-ups) and has "never worked for the man," he says. He enjoys the fact that his son, Trevor, became a Sigma Chi at Carnegie Mellon University in 2013. He says it was great to see the Theta Theta men this past fall.
