InvestIng In Our Future O ur investment in the future of Oregon Alpha will ensure the success of our chapter and will promote a legacy upon which to build an even greater brotherhood. Today, perhaps more than ever, college fraternities may play a relevant role in shaping the lives of young men. Oregon Alpha provides a small-group living environment that offers our members a solid foundation and support network for their education. e undergraduate men have made a commitment to work hard in maintaining the programs and traditions that have benefited the lives of so many Oregon Alpha SigEps over the years. Together with our active members, we have an opportunity to continue our chapter's tradition of relevance and success. Remember that each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice of those who went before us. We all enjoyed the comfort and brotherhood Oregon Alpha provided during our years at Oregon State. Now it is our turn to support Oregon Alpha and ensure that the same, wonderful experience is available to others. We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. With your support, Sigma Phi Epsilon will continue to provide a quality fraternity experience and living environment that supports, nurtures, and develops outstanding young men with the skills and confidence to face an ever-changing world. e commitment we make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a far-reaching effect on the lives of our Oregon Alpha brothers for years to come. "Being a SigEp meant it was a great place to learn. Not just related to classroom studies, but it was a live- in lab to learn people skills. You could learn how to relate effectively with other people who had different backgrounds, interests, and priorities. ese skills are not taught in the classroom, but are what I learned at SigEp and have served me well my entire life." – Don Cook '50 12 "Oregon Alpha afforded me the opportunity to mature, grow, learn, and understand my brothers. It was a unique chance to develop not just friends, but brothers who cared for and with you. Just as when C.H. Landon led us in a remodeling project in the 1960s, we alumni are engaged in a campaign for the future of Oregon Alpha. I am on board 100% and hope all of you will join me in making a pledge to the Oregon Alpha campaign." – Fred Koontz '70
