Armstrong '49 entered Chapter Eternal on May 11, 2016, as a resident of Sanibel, Fla. Dale valued the memories and friendships he gained in Delta Tau Delta, and will be missed dearly. Gene Curtis '57 entered Chapter Eternal on December 13, 2015, in Cleveland after suffering a heart attack. Gene will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and Beta Alpha brothers. ALUMNI NEWS Donald Wright '59 retired after more than 50 years of defending civil cases in state and federal courts in southwest Indiana. Bill is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran and has been married to his wife, Leslie, who he met at IU, for 47 years. Bill worked at Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 31 years in sales and marketing research, where he helped in the development of Depend and POISE products. Bill and Leslie have lived happily in Wisconsin since 1980. E-mail: bharveywi@gmail.com Tony Crayden '69 attended a Beta Alpha pledge brother reunion recently. "Most pledge brothers have met for the reunion at the house of JZ Morris '69 in New Harmony, Ind., for the past five years. Most townspeople don't know what to think when we drive around town in golf carts," he jokes. "Good to catch up!" E-mail: tcrayden@drs.com George Bray '73 enjoys getting together with Beta Alpha Delts from the 1970-73 era for the Delt Wide Open golf tournament in Bloomington every September. "All are invited in future years—it is great fun!" George says. E-mail: georgebray51@gmail.com Gary Gaddis '79 shares that he and his wife, Monica, became grandparents in January 2015, with their second grandchild on the way. Their daughter, Andrea, and her husband, Ted, live in St. Louis, Mo. Their son, Tyler, was married in 2015 and is a master brewer in California. Gary and Monica just celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary, and Gary is now a clinical professor of emergency medicine at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Howard '80 stays active in the Indianapolis community as president of the Crossroad Officials Association, an IHSAA soccer state official, and as an NISOA soccer official.
