E
ach of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of
Sigma Chi at Kansas State University. How appropriate, then, that
each of us has an opportunity to invest in the future. At the advent
of this project, a small group of alumni, many of whom you will know,
made early commitments and stretched their gis to demonstrate the
importance of this project. We urge each alumnus to do the same and
consider a major gi to the campaign. To help donors maximize their
gis, the campaign is designed with our alumni in mind.
Adjustable pledge period.
Pledges can be fulfilled as a one-time gi, annual installments, or by
monthly payments, spread out up to a five-year period.
Payment options.
In addition to writing a check, donors can fulfill their pledge with a
credit card or an automatic bank withdrawal.
Matching gifts and tax benefits
on gifts of securities.
If your employer offers a matching gi program, your gi may be
eligible. Also, gis of securities may offer significant tax advantages to
the donor. (For professional advice, please consult your tax advisor.)
Commemorative gifts.
Gis in honor or in memory of brothers, as well as family and pledge
class gis, are welcomed. Recognition in such cases will be given to
both the donor and the honoree.
