ith Alicia Keyes, Hallie Berry,
Gwyneth Paltrow and other top
stars embracing it, the nude, or
no-makeup look, is the hottest
style trend in Hollywood.
But, can anyone pull off the look
and can they do it without having a glam squad on
speed dial?
For answers, we asked two successful makeup
and hair artists who make their living creating
flawless looks for actors, models, brides, corporate
executives and Bay Area women for their big
moment, big day or just a big deal experience.
Sarah Hyde, owner and creative director of Mill
Valley's sHe artists, and Eliza Desch, owner of Eliza
Desch Makeup and Hair, based in Corte Madera,
both agree that the trend can be appealing
and is most likely a pendulum swing against the
overdone makeup of social media stars.
