Our Needs and Opportunities
W
hile the Kappa Delta experience is certainly more than
the physical structure of the chapter house, our home
undoubtedly plays a significant role in the development of our
sisters and as a proud symbol of our shared values and goals.
Keeping OUr SiSterS Safe
The safety of our 194 collegiate members is of utmost
importance to the house corporation; we must offer a
structurally sound and safe home for our collegians. Much like
our personal homes, our chapter house must be a safe haven
that instills confidence in our members and their parents.
pUrSUing eXcellence
The University of Illinois is as academically challenging as
ever and the need for enhanced, quiet, well-lit, and comfortable
study spaces within our facility is necessary for our members
to achieve academic excellence. We have all seen the impact
of technology over the years, as devices not present during
your college years are now necessities, including multiple
personal devices and high-speed Wi-Fi. Our plan will ensure
that Sigma Omicron remains a scholastic leader on campus
and within the Greek system by providing academically
focused amenities.
Setting OUrSelVeS apart
While Sigma Omicron continues to attract some of the top
women, we know we are competing with the amenities offered
in newly renovated on-campus residence halls and off-campus
apartments. For Kappa Delta to remain a premier sorority at
U of I, we must build a facility to attract the quality of women
we pride ourselves on.
Building Our Future
