Email: summerset17@yahoo.com Karen Young Mackenzie '81 finished work on the new Amazon Prime TV show Good Girls Revolt last summer, which is based on the true story about the woman at Newsweek Magazine who filed an official complaint against her employer in 1970 stating that she was being treated unequally in comparison to her male counterparts. The complaint eventually led to a lawsuit and the ERA. Karen was the assistant costume designer in charge of the background. "Please look for it on Amazon. It aired October 28, 2016." When healthcare reform launched in 2010, she wrote the lead articles for the San Diego Business Journal. Her eldest son graduated from UMKC and works in Kansas City; her youngest two chidren attend the University of San Francisco and Seattle University. Karen is very involved in her church and her community in San Diego, Calif. Cynthia is busy with school, Aicardi Syndrome Foundation, Aicardi Syndrome Conference Committee, being a mom to two amazing young ladies and being a wife to a FarmHouse man.
