By Madison McCarty RedBluffFFAreporter Eight students of the Agriculture Business and Leadership classes got to travel south in February to experience the agriculture industry. Juniors and seniors vis- ited the Tulare World Ag Expo where they got to learn more about agricul- ture industry all around the world. They got to tour South Valley Farms, Bravo Farms and did some sight- seeing at the West Hills Col- lege and Harris feedlot. All eight students re- turned to Red Bluff with fun stories and more knowl- edge about the agriculture industry. Students travel to agriculture exposition in Tulare The Shasta College Diesel Technology Club is hosting the 11th an- nual Unlimited Vehicle and Equipment Show and Swap Meet 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 6 on the Shasta College Main Campus in the East park- ing lot. There will be an un- limited variety of vehi- cles and equipment at the show thanks to the par- ticipating members of the community. Judging will start at 9:30 a.m. Cost to attend is $4 general admission, $3 for seniors and the military. Car registration and VIP pass is $30, or $25 in ad- vance. The public is in- vited to attend a free, drive-in movie 8-11 p.m. Friday, May 5. The event helps fund scholarships and pro- grams. Awards will be given to the "best of the best" with unique prizes and trophies handcrafted by club members. "It is you, the commu- nity, who we rely on to make our show one of a kind," said Ray Nicholas, advisor to the club. "We are looking forward to seeing all of you there." The Associated Press SANTA ROSA Officers have arrested a 50-year- old man at a northern California high school af- ter staff members found him on campus without clothes from the waist down. KCBS reports employees at Santa Rosa High School told officers they found the man wearing only a T-shirt and a small plas- tic bag covering his gen- itals. He was later identi- fied as William Miessner. Additionally, police say Miessner's hands and gen- itals were painted blue. Officers say Miessner spoke to at least one stu- dent. No one was injured. It was not immediately clear why Miessner came to the school. Police say his clothing and other be- longings were found on campus. Police arrested Miess- ner on suspicion of posses- sion of a controlled sub- stance, entering a school campus with intent to in- terfere or disrupt, and pro- viding false identification to officers.
