Constance Kershaw Waide-Allen '51 reports that her husband, Zoel, died in 2013. She stays active with several clubs, church, and bridge groups. She has 12 great-grandchildren and 20 grandchildren. She always wanted a big family after being an only child. Joyce Ashley Olson '54 is thankful for Tri Delta as her closest friends are Deltas. A group of 12 have played bridge and bonded for more than 59 years. Catherine McIntire '55 is a member of Twin Cities Tri Delta alumnae chapter, and she encourages all collegians to become part of a group after graduation for networking and new friends. She is still traveling, has visited all continents, and hiked on three of them when she was younger. Jane Bras Ott '55 is a Stephen Minister at Village Presbyterian Church. She is on the board of directors of Open Options of Greater Kansas City, a Kansas City Young Matron, and a member of the Lyric Opera Guild. Janice Mathena Zeybel '66 reports that the University of Texas Theta Zeta Chapter hosted a 50-year ceremony for four "oldies," herself included. It was special because her daughter, also a Tri Delta, came down for the ceremony. Diane Line Parks '71 works in Santa Monica, Calif., for a biotech startup. She commutes to Vail about every three weeks. "It's a nice balance of crazy beach town and crazy ski resort." Joan Waeldin Wilson '73 and her husband, Garth, are both retired and have moved from their home of 30 years in Piper, Kan., to Platte City, Mo., and they love it. Their youngest daughter and her family live in the same neighborhood. Their son and his family live about 10 minutes away. Their other daughter lives in Puerto Rico with her family. They enjoy their five grandchildren who live close quite often. They have also been to Puerto Rico, which was a great getaway from Midwestern winters. Lisa Chestnut Maxwell '84 and her husband relocated to Santa Barbara, Calif., for his career change. She was introduced to a line of health and wellness super foods, and her second career began as a self-employed business woman. They love the cool, moderate climate in Santa Barbara and the activities the mountains and ocean provide. Sydney Sutherland '07 celebrated a five-year anniversary with a position change at Cerner Corporation. She moved from a very high- travel position to an easier-travel position as a consultant within Population Health. With less travel, she welcomed a new puppy, Charolette, a mini goldendoodle, and she is enjoying being a Kansas City resident.
