To help ensure that happens, remember these tips: • Your account number is required for any electronic payments, such as tax refunds. • An invalid account number or closed account will cause your tax refund to be returned. • If Redstone returns the tax refund, the Internal Revenue Service will mail a check to the address on the tax refund and it may take up to eight weeks for the check to reach you. Offering easy money and requiring no collateral, these payday loan stores entice those in desperate financial situations. However, instead of an easy way out of a bad financial situation, borrowers can find themselves deeper in debt because of the high interest rates and exorbitant fees these stores charge. Check Cashing: The No Hold Check Cashing fee is up to 2.9% of the check amount with a minimum fee of $2 per check. No Hold Check Cashing approval is not guaranteed. Payday Alternative Loans: RFCU is an Equal Credit Opportunity Lender. Not more than 3 PAL loans in any rolling 6-month period to any one borrower and no co-borrowers are permitted. No more than 1 payday alternative loan at a time to a borrower. Must not roll-over any PAL loan. Must have Direct Deposit greater than or equal to the contracted payment. Subject to credit approval, a minimum of six months membership required, must not have caused RFCU a loss, and all accounts have to be in good-standing (e.g., not in the negative, including joint accounts and no delinquent loans) and other restrictions apply. A $20.00 non-refundable application fee applies and must be collected at application, may not be financed in the loan, taken from the loan proceeds, or paid by personal check drawn on another financial institution. Over-the-Counter Bill Pay: An Over the Counter Bill Pay fee of up to $10.99 per payment applies and the fee varies per biller. Must not have caused RFCU a loss in order to be eligible to use the Over the Counter Bill Pay Service. Bill Pay service is provided by MoneyGram. Not all creditors can be paid through MoneyGram. Not all payments are credited same day. Date payment credited is solely controlled by agreement between Money Gram and biller and cannot be effective dated by RFCU. Reloadable Pre-Paid Visa Card: Visa ® Prepaid card is issued by MetaBank™, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc. There is no purchase fee and a monthly fee of $3.00. The $3.00 monthly fee is waived with direct deposit. Fees subject to applicable law. Third party fees and other fees may apply.
